Following up on cancellations and no-shows

When someone cancels a class or doesn't show up, they gather into a short follow-up list you can open right from your Today screen — with an easy way to get in touch.

When a booking is cancelled, or someone is marked as a no-show, it’s worth a quick follow-up — a friendly message often turns a missed class into a rebooking. Atelier Studio gathers these into two short lists you can open straight from your Today screen, so you never have to go hunting for who to reach out to.

Where to find them

On the Today screen, look for the needs-attention strip near the top. When there’s something worth a look, you’ll see a card such as “3 cancellations” or “2 no-shows”. Select the card to open its list. When everything’s in order, the card simply won’t appear.

Each card counts the same recent period as your Today screen, so the number on the card matches the list you open.

What you’ll see

Each person in the list shows:

  • their name (and photo, if they have one),
  • the class they were booked into, with the day and time,
  • when they cancelled, or which class they missed, and
  • for cancellations, the reason they gave, if there was one.

Getting in touch

Every row is a shortcut to that student:

  • Select anywhere on the row to open their full profile, where you can see their booking history and reach out.
  • In a hurry? Select the email address or phone number shown on the row to start a message or a call without leaving the list.

Who can open these lists

Because these lists include students’ contact details, they’re available to owners and to staff whose role includes managing customers. If a team member doesn’t have that permission, the cards won’t appear on their Today screen.
