Staff roles and permissions

What each role can see and do, and how to change someone's access.

Roles decide what each member of your team can see. Assign the narrowest role that lets someone do their job.

The roles

  • Owner — full access, including payouts, billing, and deleting the studio. There’s always at least one owner.
  • Manager — everything an owner can do except billing and payouts.
  • Instructor — sees their own classes and the clients booked into them. Can’t see payments or settings.
  • Front desk — sees the full schedule and can take and refund reservations, but not settings or reports.

Changing a role

Go to Settings → Team, open a person, and pick a new role. It takes effect the next time they load the app.

Owners and billing

Only owners see billing and payouts. If your bookkeeper needs access to reports without seeing card details, give them Manager — they’ll see revenue reports but not the payout bank account.
